Funeral parlor manager survives gun attack in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY – A 27-year-old manager of a funeral parlor in Manaoag town, Pangasinan province was wounded after an unidentified gunman shot him several times on Sunday, April 18, police said.

Investigators identified the victim as Jhamere Ezra Bonifacio of Señora De Manaoag Funeral Services and a resident of Barangay Calaocan.

He was shot at the Simbahang Bato compound in Bonuan Gueset in this city while he was supervising his employees.

The victim sustained four bullet wounds and is being treated at the Region I Medical Center.

Police said the suspect, who was on board a motorcycle, immediately fled the crime scene.

No motive has been established yet by the police. INQ
