Ricky Lo, The Philippine STAR's entertainment editor, passes away
MANILA, Philippines — Veteran entertainment columnist Ricky Lo passed away on May 4. He was 75.
According to Susan Lee, sister of The Philippine STAR's entertainment editor, they wanted the public to respect his brother's death not revealing the details about it.
Ricky was born in in Las Navas, Northern Samar on April 21, 1946. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English course in the University of the East.
He served as The Philippine STAR's entertainment editor from July 1986 to May 2021.
Recently, Ricky became controversial after Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre called him out after reporting that Nadine and boyfriend James Reid broke up.
The report, however, was true after the popular love team Jadine revealed that they broke up in January 2020.
