MANILA, Philippines — GMA Network on Thursday said it mourns the passing of veteran actor Eddie Garcia, who died days after falling into coma following an accident while taping for a teleserye in Tondo, Manila. He was 90 years old.

It was on June 8 that Garcia suffered a neck injury after tripping and falling while shooting for an upcoming GMA teleserye tentatively titled “Rosang Agimat.”
