VOGUE ITALIA OPENS ENTIRE ARCHIVE FOR FREE ACCESS

By REY ROBES ILAGAN

“The Vogue Italia archive is the heart of our magazine; it’s our history and the compass that points to our future. By opening it to our readers free of charge, Condé Nast is offering them a ticket to a glorious journey in space and time,” said Emanuele Farneti, editor in chief of Vogue Italia. “Work by the world’s greatest photographers will take them to fabulous places where they can have a close look at the icons of at least three generations. It’s a treasure trove of beauty and freedom, which we hope will be a comfort to all in these dark days.”

Together with Condé Nast Italia, the editorial team of Vogue Italia introduced a series of initiatives in solidarity with its readers in this difficult time. First, a special Milan-dedicated issue of Vanity Fair magazine was published March 11, and distributed free to newsstands in Lombardy. Condé Nast Italia also extended free digital distributions of other titles, including GQ, Wired, Architectural Digest, La Cucina Italiana, and Traveller.

Starting March 17, readers can access for three months the Vogue Italia archives for free. Enjoy the entire history of the magazine from its inception in 1964 to the present with features, photography, articles, and advertising campaigns, all meticulously catalogued through technology.

How to access? Just go to http://archivio.vogue.it/en and click on the “Subscribe” tab to select the “Full Archive” option. Register with your details, and use the promotional code “VARCHIVE4YOU.”
