Months after her son Mico Palanca died, Pita Revilla passed away at age 62 in San Francisco on March 19.
Pita was a part of the famous showbiz clan, the Revillas, and the daughter of ’50s leading man Armando Goyena and Camay girl Paquita Roces.
She was first married to race car driver Bernard Palanca Sr., who sadly passed away when their kids Bernard Jr. and Mico were still young.
After a few years, Pita got married to Dr. Lorenzo Hocson, the family doctor of former Philippine President Joseph Estrada, who then died in 2008.
The news about her demise was shared by her cousin. “Father God, I know Pita is now with You in Heaven. She is welcomed with hugs by Jesus as shown in this picture,” she said in a post. “It saddens us here on earth that we will not see her again and enjoy precious moments with her anymore but we lift up our sorrow and grief to you knowing she is in a much better place, she is with You now.”
In the comment section, Ditas confirmed that Pita found out she had cancer when she had a check two weeks ago and that it had already metastasized.
